Dust jacket rubbed with light soiling; with some wear and peeling mostly at spine ends and at panels' top edges; front flap's top corner is clipped. Olive green cloth with light color fading along top edges; a few small surface impressions to rear board; front board's top fore-edge corner worn. Some toning and foxing to text block edges with additional staining to top edge which fractionally affects some leaves at their upper margins; ink ownership inscription written along front free endpaper's spine margin; some foxing to early and late leaves but pages overall remain clean. Binding is firm. Else a very good copy in a very good- dust jacket. Classic examination of the Japanese tea ceremony first published in 1933. Arthur Lindsay Sadler (1882-1970) served as Professor of Oriental Studies at the University of Sydney from 1922 to 1948.
