Large booklet of 48 pages analysing the motifs of Peruvian pottery with small illustrations many in terracotta colours. Also 65 large heliotype plates unbound in single sheets, 29 in colour, 39 x 30cms showing pots and figurines. Ownership signature of Sir Julian Sorell Huxley, the evolutionary biologist. The front panel of the wrap to the plates volume has separated from the spine and back panel into two parts.
