Shewing the Rapids, and Provincial Canals, to Improve the Navigation" colour litho map by George Matthews, Montreal, drafted by H.H. Killaly, 51 x 521 cm (17 feet). And ".Various Routes Proposed for the St. Lawrence and Lake Champlain Ship Canal," 70 x 128 cm. These two maps are IN ADDITION to those listed in the contents. It appears they were issued with this publication but not listed in the Contents. Original cloth boards with title stamped in gilt (dulled) to the front board, recently rebound in half leather and the binding strengthened, tears and folds expertly repaired, very nicely preserved.
