224 pages, illustrated with b&w photographs, with Forewod by Gordon Graham. "This is more than a book about photography. It is a statement of life philosophy by a scholar, teacher, novelist, historian, poet, and world traveller, to whom the camera became his means of reconciling man with nature, and showing humanity in the frame of nature. In all Jack's photographs, there is not only a skillful use of symbols and pattern which prompt us to seek for meanings, but also a sense of repose." FINE HARDCOVER, FINE DUST JACKET. Dust jacket protected with a clear plastic acid-free jacket. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
