FINE book, no DJ. With a 3 page artical: "DDT and Wildlife" on DDT hazards. In 1962, 5 years later, "Silent Spring" came out. Author, if not a US Forest Service employee. did much work for the Fores Service. Book stays closed when stood on spine, a sign of having been seldom read. FEP with 4 line inscription to a fellow worker. Book is a compendium of about 50 short articals about the out of doors, forestry, comservation, etc. 8"x5", 181pp. FINE book, no DJ.
