Small 4to, pp141 with b/w illustrations by Gordon Browne, Louis Waine and others throughout. Hardcover no dust jacket. Binding of pictorial light blue boards with red & black titles and picture of girl with dog in white, black and brown and gilt titles to spine in very good condition with a little fading of gilt and discolouration to spine and small crease to front board. Inside a little aging to ffe papers and a little discolouration to edges of patterned end papers. All pages with full edge gilt in very good clean and bright condition with a few fingermarks throughout. A very nice copy.

Nikki Green Books is based in Glasgow. Beth Lowell-Green is a third generation bookdealer, who along with her partner Nikki reside in sunny Glasgow. The origins of the business began with Beth's grandmother, Eve Lowell, who started The Dartmoor Bookshop in Ashburton at the back of Beth's grandfathers newsagent shop before moving to her own premises in the town. Beth spent her formative years working with her parents, who started Sue Lowell Natural History Books, based in London. We specialise in natural history, Scottish interest and ornithology along with the rare and unusual.
