The Binding is tan quarter cloth to black boards with a fleur-de-lis pattern, colors uniform throughout, with faded tan title to black box on the spine, unmarked mottled gray endpapers, and corners bumped. No Jacket. See photos. 356 pages. 5 1/4" x 7 34". Translated from the French À l'ombre des jeunes filles en fleurs (1919) by C. K. Scott Montcrieff, who did the first English language translation of all seven volumes of À la recherche du temps perdu (Remembrance of Things Past aka In Search of Lost Time), this is Part Two of Remembrance of Things Past. This is volume two only of two volumes. More recently, this novel has been translated as In the Shadow of Young Girls in Flower.
