, 3 uniform volumes, each with English and Japanese text, Volume I - The Midde Ages to Rococo (1200-1750) has 245 Colour plates and 22 black & white plates; Volume II - Rococo to Victorian (1750-1850) - has 430 colour plates and 20 black & white plates; Volume III - Victorian to Modern (1850-1940) has 263 colour plates and 20 black & white plates First Edition , nice clean and tight copies, the books are in near fine condition, slipcases have a few marks at sides, in very good condition , fine blue cloth with gilt Japanese and English titles, books covered with clear plastic sleeve, and each volume in it's own blue cloth slipcase which has gilt titles and a colour inset 38 x 28 cm Hardback ISBN.
