This book is something of a publishing oddity, a paperback with a slip cover. Published by JEWL, Japanese Executive Women's League, it is the interesting product of a mixed-ethnicity group who have come up with a historically genuine story composed of adventure and courage. It all began in 1853 when American ships showed up off the shores of Japan. About 132 years later, some women from Japan who had become important members of companies in America decided to tell their story. This is it and it is a very good read. Covers have slight wear here and there, especially at corners. Interior unmarked. Printed in English and Japanese. Includes photos. Binding tight, square.
