True first British printing with original unclipped jacket (10s 6d). With a preface by Vida Hope. Illustrations by the author. Jacket has minor patchy edge/shelf wear, the odd small mark, a little wear (pushing/rubbing/tiny chip) to tail of spine, three very small (approx. 5mms) tears to top edge, the odd spot of foxing, little browning to spine and a little pushing/rubbing to head of spine and to a couple of corners. Boards are near fine with the odd very minor bump/rub to edges and a little pushing/rubbing/fading to head/tail of spine. Pages are clean and the binding is tight. End-papers little tanned. Top of pages slightly dusty. Pages slightly tanned (nothing much). No other faults. A nice copy. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted. Seller Inventory # 004857
