Gilt spine title. 32pp. Edited by Hans Schmoller and privately printed for Allen Lane on white Hoshi-Shi paper at the Westerham Press. One of 1500 copies. With 40 French-fold leaves and illustrated with 31 wood engravings formerly used in Penguin books here printed on recto pages from the original blocks: 7 each by Reynolds Stone, 6 each by David Gentleman, 3 each by George Buday, 7 each by Diana Bloomfield, 3 each by Imre Reiner, 1 by Derek Harris, 3 each by Cecil Keeling and 1 by Roy Morgan. Near fine with corners lightly bumped. . Size 18 x 13cm ( 7 X 4.75 inches).
