The Boston Tea Party December 1773 drawn by H.W. McVickar, 1882 Dodd, Mead & Company. Two of the color illustrations feature a black man in the style of the period (see photos). GOOD PLUS OR BETTER! VINTAGE hardback picture cover book in very good condition. There is some edgewear/rubbing to the covers but the previous owner has added a clear mylar cover. The previous owner also added a spine tag "The Boston Tea Party" (see photo) but it is taped on the mylar cover-not directly on the book. The text pages are a very thick, creamy white paper. Charming color illustrations by H.W. McVickar! Very clean with no page tears. There is a lengthy explanation of the books ownership inside (pretty charming).
