Notes of a Book-lover, with an account of the Grolier Club, New York. illustrated throughout with photos of rare bindings. This copy was owned by Max Boehn writer of works on Fashion and Design, Theatre Costume etc. the personalised bookplate in colour with an art-nouveau style possibly by William Nicholson, pasted in to inner front board. The buckram has a textile feel, with heavy gilt titles on the cover and spine, some light wear to cover and head of spine, back board has a stain of a liquid type to the edge of the back cover, slightly affecting the inside of the board also. The contents on glossy art paper is very good and uncut edges give this a heavy quality feel. Seller Inventory # 00377
