Except for the new material added by the editors, the text of this editino is that published by Oxford University Press in 1885 as Volumes XXVII and XXVIII of "The Sacred Books of the East" and also designated as Parts III and IV of "The Texts of Confucianism." Volume I: lxxxiv + 479 pages. Volume II: 479 pages with indexes. Bindings are tight and sturdy. Occasional red pencil markings; vast majority of text is unmarked. Light sunning to spine.
