In very good buff coloured cloth boards with little navy illustrations surrounding blue titles to front and titles and small pictures beneath on spine. The boards are flat and quite clean and have slight hinge damage and a little wobbly. Slightly tanned free end papers; brief dedication and date of 1927 on front paste down. The text block has black and white illustrations on nearly every page. The pages are tightly bound and even; the Prelims and pages towards the end are a little foxed and the cut edges are lightly tanned. Very good condition. Without jacket.

Our Bookshop is in Copse Road in Clevedon and is open every day, seven days a week, from 10.00am to 5.00pm. The Bookshop Co-operative comprises nearly 650 members from around the world and was set up to stop the only second-hand bookshop in our town from closing. The benefit of being a member/shareholder is only social: no-one benefits financially. All profits are used to improve the bookshop and its stock, and, through events, to contribute to the literacy and literary profile of our town. We pack our books in corrugated book wrap or book boxes. We try to respond to orders the same day as we receive them or during the next business day. Shipping costs are based on books weighing up to 1.1 lb, or 0.5KG. If your book order is particularly heavy or oversized, we may contact you to request an additional payment to cover extra postage costs.
