Item description from seller

First published edition, privately issued by the O.T.O., stapled booklet in buff colored wraps, limited to 250 copies and originally sold for one shilling. The booklet is comprised of 50 pp +6pp adverts at back, has bumps with tiny peels to the paper to the spine ends and cover corners, a few cross creases along the spine with shallow creasing to the head and tail edges of the booklet, light toning and mild rubbing to the covers, and a very short tear to the fore edge of one leaf. Overall, a solid, clean, Very Good copy of this scarce edition. This copy was previously sold by Weiser Antiquarian Books, and is accompanied by their printed listing/description detailing its unique provenance. From the collection of Edward Noel Fitzgerald, O.T.O. member and friend of Crowley, this is one of several copies given to Fitzgerald by Crowley, presumably for distribution. A small number were then set aside and remained in Fitzgerald's collection at the time of his death, after which they were stored for over fifty years before being rediscovered.
