An illustrated instructional work devoted to card magic and sleight of hand, described on the title page as intended “for drawing-room and stage entertainments,” with tricks practiced by card sharps and swindlers also discussed. This copy has significant documented professional-magician provenance. It belonged to Clint Milliken of South Bend, Indiana, whose ownership is established by both his magician’s address stamp and his personal property label.
