Octavo, 245pp. About very good in the publisher's orange cloth, stamped in black. Some discoloration at the crown, the front inner hinge thinly cracked with a partial, unobtrusive repair, and occasional finger-soilng to margins. A notably uncommon mid-career Christie title, with or without dust jacket. This is the second novel to feature Miss Marple, closing a twelve-year gap (her only other appearances being in short stories since "The Murder at the Vicarage" (1930)).
