311 pages. Uncommon golf mystery in scarce dust jacket. Herbert Adams (b. 1874, d. 1958), who also wrote two novels using the pseudonym John Gray, is best remembered today for his golf-themed mysteries. The first was The Secret of Bogey House 1925. Pastedowns tanned from binder's adhesive, the offset lightly affecting the free endpapers and the cover gutters. Slight fading to the cloth, clean contents without owner names, marks or other damage, scarce jacket chipped at extremities else very good. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Seller Inventory # 100062
