Item description from seller

318 pages of excellent text, with some great illustrations. The author has written a personal account of the South Pacific where he fought in World War II. He tells of the natural characteristics of Oceana - the ocean, the wildlife, wind and weather. It is also a portrait of the peoples of Oceana - the influence of the white man on the South Pacific is most interestingly assessed. Overall it is an incredible exploration of nature and mankind. A very clean copy with no alien markings of any kind.
