Rare The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie is the first book in The First Law trilogy, blending dark fantasy with gritty realism. It follows three main characters: Logen Ninefingers, a barbarian; Jezal dan Luthar, an arrogant nobleman; and Inquisitor Glokta, a crippled torturer. Their lives intertwine in a world rife with political intrigue, brutal violence and war. The novel is known for its sharp wit, complex characters and subversion of classic fantasy tropes.
