A first UK edition of the classic novel, Black Spring, which was first published in Paris in 1936 and banned elsewhere for many decades. Bright yellow boards with bright gilt lettering on the spine. Lightly darkened spine and bumping on the spine edges. Light stains on the page ends. The unclipped dust jacket has tears and folds. Rubbed cover. 6cm tear on the front flap. Two internal sellotape repairs. Two small areas where the colour is rubbed, one affecting the image of Henry Miller on the rear cover. Seller Inventory # 000778
