vi, [1], 8-100pp. Original publisher's printed purple wrappers. Extremities discoloured, dust-soiled, and lightly rubbed. Later book-label of John L. Marks of 'Chippendale' Earlswood to verso of upper wrapper, occasional spotting. A rare survival, in original state, of the first edition of a laudatory poem celebrating the West Midlands city of Birmingham and its industry. A second edition, with the addition of an extensive appendix, was printed in 1853. COPAC records a single copy (Oxford), OCLC adds no further. Size: 12mo. Seller Inventory # AQ21093
