xvi + 168 pages, the majority of space is naturally given over to the species of birds found on Malta. There are also three indexes: scientific names, English names and Maltese names of those species. 8 plates in black and white. A scarce book which sadly is in very poor condition, eg red cover tatty and grubby, binding loosening, foxing across end papers, previous owner's name and details on ffep, but the worst is what appears to be a damp stain which affects most of the book though text is perfectly understandable. A reading copy, therefore.
