True first British printing. No jacket. Pictures by Stead. All illustrations are present and in very good condition. Light yellow boards with green lettering to spine and front and design in green to front are only good with a little pushing/bumping to corners (especially to front lower corner), a few small marks, a little patchy browning, the odd bump/rub to edges and a little pushing/rubbing/bumping to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Previous owner's name in pen to front end-paper. Pages little tanned. Odd small mark/spots of foxing to page edges, tops and bottoms. Very occasional small mark to pages. Odd small crease to a couple of pages. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted. Seller Inventory # 008704
