Binding fair/good, ie good & strong, with rubbing, looks like rebound about 100 years ago using original leather spine (minor leather loss). Contents good, clean & tight, some paper ageing, 1831 ink owner name/inscription to front endpaper, a few corner tip folds, some minor staining to a few pages only, some pencil underlining, a couple of pencil inscriptions, all folding illustrations good, with minor edge folding, only noticed 2 tiny edge tears where attached to book. 2nd book (of 2 titles) Die apokryphischen Bu cher" 196 pages + 28 hand coloured illustrated pages within. Binding fair, ie lacks spine, covers good & strong, with rubbing with Same 1831 owner name to 1st endpaper . Contents good & tight, some paper ageing, some minor staining, 1831 ink owner name/inscription to front endpaper, a few corner tip folds. All hand painted illustrated pages in very good, clean condition as better paper used than the text pages, noted when counting pages not all illustrations bound in number order. Bound with Das Neue Teftament 390 pages + 33 page kleines worterbuch, Condition good & tight, some paper ageing, some minor staining. all text in the old German Gothic, the hand made paper is not all of exactly the same thickness. both bindings approx 11 x 19.5 cm. Biblia is 7cm thick , Die apokryphischen Bu cher & Das Neue Teftament is 4.5cm thick. All are rare, and this is a very rare chance to obtain all 3 together. Size: 11 x 19.5.cm.Approx.
