First Edition Hardcover Beyond the Looking Glass: Reflections of Alice and Her Family price clipped Everyone knows Lewis Caroll's Alice In Wonderland; most people know that the story was told to a real little girl, Alice Liddell, on a boating trip from Oxford; but few people know the story of the real Alice & her talented family. Some writers have sketched in an outline, but without first-hand accounts. Until recently, the facts lay tucked away in a quiet playroom at the top of a splendid eighteenth-century house in rural Gloucestershire. There, little known and hardly disturbed for many years, were stored the relics of the Liddell family - a rich cache of objects, documents & pictures." Size: 180mm - 250mm. 246 pages small nick to d/j (We carry a wide selection of titles in The Arts, Theology, History, Politics, Social and Physical Sciences. academic and scholarly books and Modern First Editions, Reference books ,and all types of Academic Literature.).
