1929 First Edition. Tight hardcover with screw & grommet binding in fair condition. 4to 195pp Burgundy cloth boards and backstrip with gilt lettering on the front cover & backstrip. Black & white graph & table illustrations. Book is very tight. The boards have areas of scuffing along the outer edge & some fading. The boards have a little wear & edgewear with bumped corners. The lettering on the front board is very bright. The backstrip is lightly faded and has edgewear on the top & bottom - the bottom has a 1" fabric tear at the front hinge. The lettering on the backstrip has a little wear. The title page & the back endpaper have some light discoloration and soiling. Original owner wrote name neatly on top edge of title page.
