The maps are of the Belgian Congo and surrounding (Colonial) territories and are at a scale of 1:4 000 000 *** CONTENTS: This is a detailed report on the Belgian Congo (now DRC) including physical description, climate, vegetation, fauna, public health, people, history, administration, distribution of population and gazetteer, ports, agriculture and forestry, mineral economics, trade, industry and finance, communications and maps and authorities. The volume was prepared under the direction of Lt Col Masson , Professor of Geography at the University of Oxford.
