C.W. Daniel Company Ltd. Ashingdon, Rochford, Essex. 259 pages. Copyright page states: "First Published: 1923; Second Edition: 1932; Third Edition (Revised): 1947. Book is tight. Binding and hinges are strong and sound. Beige cloth boards are bright and clean with titles stamped in dark green. Toning to endpapers. Small vintage bookseller label on endpaper states The Health Guild/117 West 48th Street/New York 36, N.Y. Book comes from the private collection of a well-published scientist with his circular blind-stamp on the upper outer corner of the title page along with his name stamp on top page edges. Rare disjointed DJ wth multiple open chips yet oddly, still attractive. Considering the book is super-rare, you can imagine just how rare its DJ is as most of these have crumbled away. Small stain near top edge of DJ along with a couple of faint wrinkles. A rare edition in scarce DJ of the controversial title that alleges Pasteur was a fraud and plagiarist. VG/VG-.
