The pages are slightly toned from age but are overall clean without marks. The book has been professionally rebound with quarter black leather and red cloth bindings decorated with embossed gilt on the spine. It is now housed in a protective matching slipcase inlaid with a photo of Ruth. George Herman Ruth, nicknamed Babe Ruth, was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1936.
