In the same hand and ink the following is written on the front free endpaper: "To Dr Lewis." 4to. (29 cm.) 128p. Profusely (!) illustrated with color and black and white captioned photos. Bibliography and Index. Black paper over boards with gilt letters on the front cover and the spine. No noticeable wear to extremities, covers clean and bright, gilt bright, else fine with no internal markings. Dust jacket is fine. A resident of Burnaby since 1947, Pixie McGeachie was editor of the BURNABY EXAMINER and has written many articles and two books, including on Burnaby. She was president of the Burnaby Historical Society and a member of the Burnaby Heritage Advisory Committee when this book was produced. Jim Wolf is a local historian who works with the Municipality of Burnaby as the Heritage Planning Assistant and has also served as Community Archivist with the Museum and Historical Society. A handsome and splendidly illustrated book.
