Brown/mauvish cloth covers clean & minimally worn (just sl.corner bumping), gilt-lettering to sp.+gilt lib.logo and date at bottom. Issued as Paper No.35 of the Department of Genetics. Davenport was one of the leading U.S. eugenicists, and perhaps now best remembered for the notorious 'Race Crossing In Jamaica (1929) co-authored with Morris Steggerda.
