Bud Robertson, in the section "Military Aspects--Soldier's Life" in the Nevins bibliography, notes that "[t]his voluminous tribute contains a large number of letters written by and to Butterfield" [Nevins I, 66]. This copy is from Robertson's library and has his bookplate on the front pastedown. There is a bit of very scattered foxing. (Nevins I, 66). Very Good binding. Seller Inventory # 265603
