Good-plus clean firm interior, no marks, inscription to front e/paper, contains a colour frontispiece plus a few full page black and white illustrations, boards have a little spine lean and rub to lower spine tip, but all clean and firm; d/jacket has standard wear including a closed tear to lower rear as shown in photos, but no large loss and with bright frontage, covered with a new removable sleeve-protector, not price-clipped. A used copy with some visible fading and spotting around the outer edges, and particularly along the spine which is also split along the rear edge, creating some exterior looseness. However the contents are largely well-presented with no major creases or wear, just some minor spotting around the outer page edges commensurate with age and prior use. Minor wear; slight scraping to board edges and corners; toning and spotting to text block and page edges. Illustrated yellow dustwrapper with a small tear on lower front spine edge, mild edge and corner wear and slightly faded spine panel; price clipped inner flap leaving small aperture.
