The author was a founding member of the first Department of Investigations established by Major League Baseball In 2008. It was created to investigate gambling, age and identity fraud-with the singular purpose of cleaning up the game. Unfortunately the author reveals the failure of MLB in the scandal involving Cuban players populating baseball, the theft of signing bonuses by agents, and even how the mandates of the Mitchell Report were modified or ignored altogether. First Edition stated with all numbers from 1 to 10 present. Both the non price clipped Dust Jacket and the book are in very good condition. I have more than 230 books on the History of Baseball and over 2,500 Baseball Publications in stock. Discounts available when you purchase multiple items on the same order.
