Modern three-quarter calf leather binding with gilt title and raised bands to spine, brown cloth boards. Green marbled endpapers. viii and 506 pages plus adverts to rear. B/w illustrations and photos. Binding is beautiful. Bookplate to front pastedown. Light page browning and a few grubby marks. Couple of ink stamps to prelims and top margin of one page.
