1st 1877. Good condition with no wrapper. Brown cloth spine, brown pictorial boards. Black endpapers. Colour illustrations and text decorations printed by Edmund Evans. Board edges rubbed, corners worn. Free front endpaper starting to detach from bottom. Inscription in ink to half-title page. Rear hinge split but binding hanging on. Page 49/50 and 55/56 is detached but present. Other hinges pulled. Contents therefore fragile in binding. A few grubby marks to contents. Packaged with care and promptly dispatched! Boards dulled and lightly tanned. Extremities of boards rubbed. Boards almost loose. Front and rear hinges cracked. Some pages slightly loose. The last page would appear to be missing.
