Several of the cast members, along with folk from across the country provided favorite recipes for this cookbook. Attributions accompany recipes. Over 300 recipes are included, with several variations of "Kerosene Cucumbers." There are many southern, home-style recipes; my copy is stained and dog-eared from use. Samples: Bee's Bingo Cherry Salad, Clara's Oven Fried Chicken, Cousin Leda's Banana Chutney (I've never tried, but sounds delicious!). ; 8vo.
