Auction catalog. Cover by Rockwell Kent. Octavo. 44pp. Illustrated. Staples oxidized and a tiny rust mark on the unprinted lower wrap, bright and very good or better. Laid in is a bidding slip (slight loss along the right edge) and first addenda (two stapled leaves; staple oxidized and offset onto the adjacent pages); lacking the second addenda. A very uncommon catalog for benefit auction in which over 150 remarkable items were offered for sale, including manuscripts and typescripts by Eisntein, Faulkner (the entire manuscript of *Absalom, Absalom!*), Edna Ferber, Ford Madox Ford, Aldous Huxley, Carl Jung, D. H. Lawrence, Thomas Mann, Archibald MacLeish, and W. Somerset Maugham, among much else.
