About this Item
Large, spiral-bound book with pale blue wraps, red titles and color image of dogwood blossoms. Edges overlap and have typical wear on the ends. Covers have some toning that appears darker in my scan than it is. Interior, on slick paper, is fresh with almost no aging except some toning on endpapers. Book is square and binding is secure with no breakage in the spiral binding. ; BW Photographs; 4to 11" - 13" tall; Great photographs of Atlanta ca. 1952. This book is not dated but it has a map of Atlanta from 1949. It has another page that shows Atlanta in 1882 and below it, Atlanta Today -- '52 being my guess. The cars visible in some photographs look like early 1950's. Pictures include Rich's, Davisons, Muse's, Regenstein's and many other businesses, the old Municipal Airport, banks, government buildings, churches, monumants, homes and much more. Very nice view of Atlanta a decade or so before it became the enormous city of today. Seller Inventory # 12284
