This project, called the Atacama Platform, consisted of seven climbs Jorquencal peak, in the small village of Machuca, for fourteen days. The site, with only six permanent inhabitants, has become the perfect setting for Hamish Fulton to develop its repeating pattern of walking, creating a new walking project. The publication was issued in conjunction with the exhibition Roesler Hotel # 22 - Hamish Fulton, curated by Alexia Tala in Nara Roesler Gallery. Text in English, Spanish and Portuguese is an independent platform created by the Chilean curator Alexia Tala, who seeks to invite international artists to create art and cultural projects in remote locations in Chile.
