Samuel Weiser. 1979. First edition, USA. Paperback. Illustrated in colour. Spine creased, covers slightly spotted. Ownership name, light foxing to page edges otherwise clean and sound. Ophiel was the pseudonym of Edward C. Peach, a writer on occultism. In 1961, after receiving a claims settlement of $1,000 for an accident, he spent the money publishing his own manuscript The Art and Practice of Astral Projection, using a Hong Kong printer. Over the next decade, Peach published several occult books and continued to write through the 1970s.
