Paperback. Condition: Good. Architecture ? Action and Plan (1967) by Peter Cook (Studio Vista) One from the swinging sixties, Architecture ? Action and Plan is Peter Cook?s early blast of visionary energy before Archigram went properly intergalactic. Published in 1967 by Studio Vista, this slim but mighty volume fizzes with radical ideas, sketches, and manifestos that took architecture out of polite modernism and flung it into the realm of inflatable cities, walking megastructures, and cartoonish provocations. It?s part handbook, part scrapbook, part call-to-arms ? Cook?s punchy little book crackles with the optimism (and cheek) of a generation that thought architecture could be anything but static. An essential period piece for anyone fascinated by experimental design, counterculture publishing, or the Archigram orbit. Condition? Let?s just say it looks its age ? handled, foxed, a bit scruffy, but then again, so were most of the best ideas of the era. Perfect for those who prefer their architectural theory with a whiff of revolution and nicotine. Seller Inventory # 4283
