Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Albert Kahn Architects. Architecture. Albert Kahn Associated Architects and Engineers, Inc. New York: Architectural Catalog Co., (1948). First edition. 12"x 9", ; 174 pp. Illustrated throughout mostly with sumptuous photographs of the firm's work, plus some drawings of proposed works. Bound in cloth. Rubber stamp on front cover. There's a short tear to the upper hinge (see photo) otherwise this is a very nice copy. This is basically a trade catalog issued by the firm, the opening segment dealing with wartime efforts, which were extremely impressive. One of their projects was the famed Ford Willow Run plant which was 3.5 million feet under roof, capable by 1944 of producing 650 B-24 bombers a month. Plus a lot of other stuff. Seems that the Axis may have pursued the end of the war had they realized the impossible production that the USA was capable of by 1944. Seller Inventory # ABE-1705420965814
