Add to basket----------hardcover, likely issued without a dust jacket. Part of Winston's Children's Bookshelf series. The 4 colored plates by Adeline H. Bolton are present, as are numerous black and white illustrations by an unidentified artist. The front board has a colorful pastedown of a woman pouring a liquid from a jug into a large urn. The book is in dark green boards with the colored pastedown and gilt lettering on the spine. There is one loose page, the text block is starting to separate from the boards, the pastedown and the boards are scuffed, there is wear to corners and spine extremities, there are crayon scibbles here and there throughout, former owner name inside, there is a sticker on the verso of the back board, all in all a fair but complete copy.
