Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. 1st. (UK) First Edition No markings, hinges solid, very slight oning to page edges, Very Good in unclipped Fair only dust jacket with some loss to head of spine of Dj and a couple of long closed tears to back panel; Dj is in mylar sleeve. Tan boards, 48pp. 21 B&W woodcuts and smaller ilus in text by Daglish, who has a very eloqunet style. The text is presented in simple language. Eric Fitch Daglish (1892 -1966) was a British engraver and author. He illustrated classics by Izaak Walton, Henry David Thoreau, Gilbert White and W. H. Hudson with exquisite wood engravings.
