BOOK CONDITION: Title still present on the spine but chipping at the bottom spine end and 1 1/2" missing from the top end. Bookplate inside the front cover. Binding tight and the book is clean. Tan boards, 48pp. 21 B&W woodcuts and smaller ilus in text by Daglish, who has a very eloqunet style. The text is presented in simple language. Eric Fitch Daglish (1892 -1966) was a British engraver and author. He illustrated classics by Izaak Walton, Henry David Thoreau, Gilbert White and W. H. Hudson with exquisite wood engravings.
