All 4 volumes soundly bound with boards securely attached. Front endpages of volume one detached and missing, with first page being the title. Remaining volumes with full complement of endsheets at front and rear. All engraved plates present. Text pages generally clean and bright with only light scattered toning and occasional foxing. Some minur surface scarring to the calf boards. Title label for Vol II is missing and that of Vol I has a small chip missing to the lower edge. Spines a bit darkeneed with some quite mild surface crazing to the spines of two of the four volumes. Xxxiii, 448, (1) pp; 4 plates. Xv, 475 pp. ; 10 plates. Xx, 575 pp. , 3 plates.
