Bound in half chocolate leather and marbled boards, raised bands, gilt spine titles and rules, decorations in blind; 12mo; 298 + 6pp ads; not illustrated; dedicated to Lord Dundas. Divided into 3 parts: the rivers of England, Wales, Scotland & Ireland; the fish and angling; list of artificial flies and how to make them. Taylor, supposedly, was the first to advocate the use of a vise in tying artificial flies. Quite clean internally with former owner's name and date (1823) on half-title and again on title page. Fine binding.
