Illustrated title and frontispiece, five inserted color plates and forty-three illustrations on wood by Henry Alken, engraved by Cook and Co. Housed in a custom chemise and red quarter morocco slipcase. With the bookplate of Reuben Jay Flick to front pastedown endpaper. Cloth is soiled, light scattered foxing throughout, spine a bit dulled. Small bookstore labels to pastedown endpapers, previous owner's name on front endpapers.
